Robi Kruse, M.S. CCC-SLP
Robi is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist for the state of Georgia. She became interested in the field of Speech Pathology in 1995 when her sister had a stroke and was unable to communicate. She watched her struggle through many physical challenges but none so great as her inability to communicate. Robi watched as the speech-language pathologist worked with her so that she could once again speak, it was both heart wrenching and inspiring. That was when Robi decided to go back to school for a degree in Communicative Disorders.
She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin. Since that time, she has worked in the schools at all grade levels (elementary, middle, and high) and also in clinical settings.
Robi is known in the Central Savannah River Area as an expert in expressive/receptive language, phonological processing, and articulation.
She remarks, "I am very fortunate to work in this particular clinic due to its highly qualified staff, which includes occupational therapists. We work as a team and consult with one another daily. Every child who comes through our door receives comprehensive treatment."
Mrs. Kruse uses her school training to help parents understand and maneuver their way through eligibilities and IEPs (Individual Education Plan) for their children. She enjoys working with parents and considers them to be an integral part of any therapy program.
Robi resides in the area with her husband and son.
